For the last almost month, my mum and dads house has just been filled with bags and bags full of clothes.
The local schools agreed to put a newsletter out so we have had loads of bags of clothes from the parents at the schools. Every few days my friend Caroline brings a minimum of four big bags full of clothes round.
My house looks like a charity shop !
I have had so many donations from complete strangers from facebook, donating bags full of hats, coats, jeans, shoes etc.
Many people have also bought big bags round of nappies, teddies, tooth brushes and toothpaste.
Im taking 14 suitcases to istanbul, this evening we did the dummy run to see if we can fit it all in the car
Turns out we can :) Im gonna sit on the roof.
All these clothes, nappies, toiletries, baby bottles, are gonna make a massive difference to all the Syrians in istanbul as well as everything we will be buying out there with the money we have raised.
