The first stages of my bucket list

WOW, have not blogged since I arrived in Amsterdam, I will catch up next week with everything thats been going on, but for now, heres a few things ticked off my bucket list.

After being here 8 weeks already, I decided I would make a photo bucket list of the Netherlands. You know, photos with windmills, on a canal, with tulips, the usual.

Starting with the day I hung out with my friend Gareth and his two dutch cousins for the day

Here we are eating these tiny little delicious pancakes that sit on butter and have tonnes of powder sugar over them... they are yum!

 So now the weathers getting nicer, (see im not wearing my proper coat, just my body warmer, no hat ;) ) its nice to go for walks in the park, with dutch people of course :)

Well we all know the saying 'shall we go dutch?' Basically hinting that ducth people are tight with their money. So to go with our little walk in the park, I the english girl, chose the cheapest orange juice in the supermarket, then the dutch girls bought it, they arent that bad after all :)

So I was the tour guide for the day, but I still get us lost all the time. I wanted to take Gareth and his cousins to see my friend ben on his boat, we got lost walking there. Once on the boat, we were offered wine, of course I jumped at the chance. But there was no bottle opener, so here I am trying to open the bottle of wine with a screw driver.

 Big thanks to Gareth for taking this photo, just chilling on the boat after drinking some wine, that by the way tasted like petrol. Nice reflections on the water :)

And the last one for the day, It really had to be done. Jump on someone elses bike and pull a classic, ' Im a twat ' face !
